Southwell Lions Club is holding a Charity Golf Day on 12th June 2020, the proceeds of which are going to the “Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance Service”. Tee times start from 11.30.
Southwell Golf course on Occupation Lane, Southwell NG25 0TS is set in a beautiful rural landscape and has its share of water and trees on sections of the course to add interest to the game.
It’s just £160 per team but we can accommodate individuals who wish to enter. The format is an AM/AM and included in the price is coffee and a bacon roll on arrival and on completion of the round there will be a running buffet produced by their renowned steward, Bernie.
Excellent prizes are on offer supplied by Pro Tim Newham. During the round there will be mini competitions including, nearest the pin, straightest drive and at the end a putting competition.
We are also looking for companies/businesses to sponsor any of the 18 holes, all in aid of a brilliant charity. Each time the helicopter goes into the air it costs well over £2,500 and they make over 1,000 potentially life-saving missions per year.
