Carols for Everyone
The community Carols for Everyone Concert in collaboration with Southwell Choral and Orchestral Societies took place on Saturday 14th December at the Southwell Minster.
The Major Oak Chorus (photo above) did us proud with their own medley of Christmas songs. Lowes Wong children also performed something special but, of course, the audience also joined in with the traditional carols.
The beneficiary this year is the Keframa High School in Northern Uganda. Whilst the first phase of this secondary school opened in 2019, lots of equipment is still needed to enable pupils from poor backgrounds to train to help their community.
Their website www.keframaschoolbuild.co.uk gives a fuller picture of the school and their local supporters.
This year's entry cost was £7 for adults and £3 for children.
